The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs dispatched a chartered plane today carrying 40 tons of emergency supplies (water purification tablets and emergency food) from the NGO Action Against Hunger (AGH) for the victims of Cyclone Nargis. The aircraft took off from the airport at Vatry with permission to land in Burma where it will arrive in the night (6:15 a.m. local time).
